Is the sprocket shaft left or right hand thread?

LOL, not a stupid question, but you have to be trying to get a factory front driver off the motor! It is a right hand thread.....get the biggest ratchet handle you can find and a pipe, youll get it. Make sure the chain is on and lock the tire down somehow, or it will never come off!..Hope that helps!

I think hes talking about the nuts on the end of the cranckshaft! :eek:

On the bolt or nut you are trying to remove. If it has tick marks on the corners of the bolt head it is a left hand nut/bolt. If not it is a right hand nut/bolt. Not sure if this applies to everything, but i have never found anything that it didn't apply too.
