The plans are drawn and submitted to the Jefferson Township, Butler County planning comission board. It will be voted on August 27 at 7:30 PM. http://jeffersonbutler.com/index.htm
There are concerns from some of the local community and false information is being distributed from track opposition. Support from the racing community at this meeting would be greatly appreciated. You do not have to be a Jefferson township resident in order for you voice and opinion to be heard.
There are not any zoning laws in the township or ordinances that prevent NRP from being constructed. With the community and local neighborhood in mind, I am pursing additional expenses to minimize possible concerns.

You may contact me for additional information on the track or the township meeting.
Thank you,
Brett Neupert

Official Press Release 9-3-09 Neupert Raceway Park- NRP
Hello again race fans.
I just had my planning commission meeting on Aug 27th. There were around 200 people at the meeting with a mixture of track opposition along with devoted NRP supporters. It was such a large crowd, that we had to move the meeting outside on the township’s building front lawn. My plans were denied by the PC, but that was expected. I did not have time to get all of the final approvals from other local agencies.
The denied reasons state that I must construct a bathroom building with plumbing, water and septic per UCC construction codes for the state of PA. I was planning on using portable toilets since I do not have running water nor septic on my property and the toilets would be seasonal use only. I have not been able to locate any official documents that state I must construct a bathroom building. If anyone out there has the documents please let me know.
Other denied reasons include I need to meet with the DEP and the Butler County Conservation District on my final plans. And my plans need reviewed by an independent surveyor to review the storm water management plan. Other than that, I am good to go.
My next PC meeting is on September 24th at 7:30 pm at the Jefferson Township building. Note: they may move the meeting to a different location to handle the large attendance. Check back with me or www.jeffersonbutler.com (http://www.jeffersonbutler.com/) for the latest info. This hopefully would be my final approval meeting with the township.
To show my appreciation to all that come support NRP at the public meetings, I am giving each person 1 free general admission pass (can be upgraded to a pit pass) to use when NRP opens. They will be sent in the mail or you can pick them up at the track. But you must see me or my sister Jennifer after the meetings to get signed up. This also includes everyone who went to my first meeting on Aug 27th. You must contact me with your info since I did not know everyone that was there supporting NRP.
One more reminder, Jefferson Township’s Off-Road Vehicle Ordinance will be voted on September 14th at 3:30 pm. The time and location is subject to be changed also. The public’s disapproval DOES influence the voting process. There are many harsh restrictions for all types of recreational vehicles in the township. The draft copy of the ordinance can be picked up at the Jefferson Township building during business hours. Twp phone number 724-352-2324. And also at my previous PC meeting there was a group of people who wanted to employ LAND ZONING for Jefferson township. It would cost the local taxpayers thousands of dollars to implement this un-needed request. Let the township know that you do not want land zoning. The public strongly rejected this idea 10 years ago.
Anyways, back to the drawing and research board. I will keep updating all soon as I can.
I can see the green-white-checker in the distance.
Thanks for the support,
