When we designed the industry's first 600cc fuel injection system in 2002 it was our vision that in the future we would be able to reprogram stock ECU's. Since that time we have not only created a more reliable system, we've also made it lighter, less complicated, and now less expensive and more powerful as well. Through Guhl Motors GUTS technology we are able to save the consumer considerable expenses while offering them a more powerful package.

GUTS ECU's start life as a stock ECU. Through our custom interface hardware we are able to individually tune every aspect of the ECU seperately for absolute maximum performance. The ECU is first connected to our GUTS tuning computer. Once connected, we are able to download the GUTS technology into the stock ECU, thus allowing us control over fuel speed density mapping, fuel alpha-N mapping, ignition timing, rev limits, acceleration, enrichment, secondary throttle plates, fan operating temperature, off and on of sensors (ie: tipover, anti-theft), etc. Each GUTS box is individual in that there are endless configurations. Once programmed, the GUTS ECU is tested before being reconnected to the customer's vehicle. Each ECU is then marked with a serial number and matched with its binary image so that replacement ECU's can be created quickly.
