Fast and Furious Friday nights continued at Bridgeport Speedway. The racing action continued on the famed 1/4 Mile dirt track at Bridgeport Speedway.
The strong car counts continued once again with 35, 270cc Micro Sprints signed in for the night of racing. The 4 Heat winners were: Jay Hartman, Andrew Locuson, John Blanda and Bill Sorey and the BUCKHORN Restrurant Bmain went to Eddie Wagner. The 20 lap Amain was won by Jay Hartman, who started 7th. Andrew Locuson 2nd coming from 9th and Dave Brown 3rd coming from 17th starting position. Steve Bucko 4th coming from 11th starting position and John Copeland 5th who started 14th.

The 600cc Micro Sprints had 35 cars signed in to race tonight. The 4 heat winners were: Alex Buben, DJ Wykes, Carl Locuson and Steven Bracall. The BUCKHORN Restrurant Bmain was won by Ed McClure. The 20 Lap A main was won by Alex Buben of Yardley Pa., who started on the pole and held off strong challenges from Glen Heverin through out the race who came in 2nd after starting 7th. Nick Sapp finished 3rd coming from 11 position. 4th went to Jimmy Carpenter and Jeff Hartman rounded out the top 5 after starting 16th.

The 4Cylinder heats went to Bucky Allbright and Mike Hughes. Bucky Allbright won the 4cyl 20Lap Amain coming from a 3th starting position, Warren Stradley finished 2nd after starting 8th and Mike Hughes finished 3rd who started 4th.

270cc Micros Sprints and the 600cc Micro Sprints and 4 cylinder stock cars will light it up as well on the 1/4 mile track. 358 Small Blocks set the pace on the 5/8 track. Front Gates open at 5:00 PM. Back Pit Gates will open at 6:00 PM. The first qualifying race begins at 7:00 PM. General Admission tickets are $13 for adults. Kids 12 and under are admitted for free.
