I see there are 3 ways to get 270. You can go big bore and stock stoke, stock bore and long stoke or bigger bore and longer stoke. I'm getting ready to build a new motor for Bridgeport and walking around the pit looking at motors there doesn't seem to be an advantage to any one combination. They all win on a given night.
I know on a 4 stroke a big bore will give you more torque and a long stoke will produce the torque longer. The short stroke is a high RPM motor and the long stroke works at lower rpm. It looks like the big bore long stoke should be the best of both worlds. In real life what appears to be better?
