Was wondering what some of the motor builders and others think will be teh best 600 motor for next year? any thoughts?

It'll probably be the same as this year. Kawasaki is still the top performer of the bunch.

Hmmmmmm... I'll have to get back to you on that one :D Depends on the rules. You really can't go wrong with any of the major four. At this point the Kawi might have a slight edge in all out horsepower and torque. But not a huge difference.

It seems the two top winning engines are the Kaw 636 and the Yam R-6. Honda and Suzuki are making competitive improvements. Honda has changed their engine design pretty dramatically within this last year, so you cannot hang on an existing exhaust system, engine mount brackets, modified oil pan, nor it appears your old fuel injection system. HRC does offer for the Honda RR a lot of parts such as cams, valve springs, and programable factory CDI boxes. This I believe is legal under the new rules as these are factory parts from Honda HRC. You still cannot exceed factory rpm specfications...:rolleyes:
