Jason, is there any way to make it so that you can collapse certain forums and thus have them not show with the "new posts" action? Right now you can either view new posts and see posts about everything OR you can visit one section of the forum and see all posts, not just new ones. Does that make any sense? I'm not sure how much of a scripting nightmare that would be, but in current formation, if the other sections of the board grow (midgets, dwarfs, etc.) we will have to wade through all of that stuff to read the micro posts when calling up new posts.

This function has been discussed by Jason and I and it has been added to my development list for farther review at a later date. This function is not a part of the standard Vbulletin Commercial Forums package but I believe it may be doable in the future when my work load is a little lighter.
Thanks

You can sort of make it work for yourself. Go to the main listing of all forums. In the "Header" of the section (Blue Area) where it says Micro Sprints, Click on the text and it will filter all the listings under that subject. Then if you click "New Posts" it should show you only the new posts in the Micro Sprint section.
Hope that made sense.

Well, I was wrong. I just checked again to make sure I was right and I am mistaken. What I said to do a make shift filter doesn't work. :(

I have had some communications with the vbulletin coding team on this issue. Their reply was that all new posts/active threads in a single section of the forums will be bolded since a members last visit. Thus vbulletin automatically does the latest active threads/ new posts for the members.
For example when you visit the micro sprint forum all active threads/new posts since your last visit will be bolded. This applies to all forum sections on the board.

With that said I will be looking into coding a drop down menu from the new posts item in the navbar so individual forums can be specified.
