To all the SPEEDSTRS, crew, drivers and staff, thanks for a great show at Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday night 8-31-08 when you all were a part of the 5th Annual Paul Long Memorial.
As Ray Everham stated when interviewed, in victory lane by Selinsgrove's announcer Steve Inch, Selinsgrove is the biggest and fastest speedway that they have raced on thus far.
Officials at Selinsgrove placed two transponders on two SpeedSTRS and average speeds were 69 mph on the big half mile. I was able to film all the warm up and the heats race and feature and to see the drivers throw the SpeedSTRS into the turns and then tackle the long straight aways, only to thro it in turn 3 & 4 was a sight to be seen.
I hope you fit Selinsgrove on your 2009 schedule.
