 whats the ideal wheel base for smaller tracks like Lanco? If I have a short wheel base car would that be a handicap?

I have experimented with wheel base a few times this year. It really makes a difference in the car. So many things come into play though. Depending on where the axle is placed and it's effect on the torsion arm lengths ect.... Also what type of car is it 270/600? What is the wheel base?

Im not yet sure, I will be looking at the car this weekend. Im looking at a wide body chassie that has a short wheel base. I have been told that the wheel base can be altered. any opinions about the wide body chassie would be welcome as well.

i am new to the 600s only raced once and won't be racing much until the end of the season but what is a sb3 considered same as pmp but is it a wide body? short or long wheel base? i think it is narrow because my legs just fit on the side of the engine cover. hard to fit 2 size 13 shoes in there. when you gues are talking about wheel bases do you meen the axle length? or rear axle to front axle?

That would be the distance from the front axle to the rear.
