I was wondering what would be the best material to construct a lightweight flywheel without cost in mind would it be billet aluminum or titanium. I am not sure which is the lighter of the two.

Al is lighter than Ti ...... But not as strong ..... If it was me I'd have 'em made out of billet Al. Lighter and cheaper to machine hands down ...... Just my .02
