I know I’m early, but I’ve already started planning for the memorial race for this year.
I'll be posting the extra payout amounts as a tentative amount within the next couple weeks. Last year the Rookies got the largest chunk, I'm thinking this year it'll be Regulars and 600's :) The 600's have had a killer car count. I'm debating if this year only the winner will get the prize which would make winner receive $600 (hopefully more) in both of the classes as it stands now. Or I can keep it so that the pays put back through the field possibly some extras like Hard Charger. I'm working on getting extra money. I’ve decided any commission I make from today until August 31st goes towards this fund. I would like to hand money out to new faces so bring a crew! Any input on what you'd like to see would be great. You guys always tell me “It’s your night do what you want.” We enjoy doing this every year. My Dad said earlier this year “There’s no way we are cancelling out this memorial race this year or in the future.” With that said, I’ve got to try to make the event better so it will stick around. Every week we go to GVAT Saturdays, Linda’s Fridays, and we’ll be back to Kutztown on Wednesdays we know the money put out. Give us some input and suggestions! Remember, we enjoy doing this and we view it that the nights about the racers for supporting the memorial. This is one of our ways to “cater“ back to people we consider friends/in some cases family! I'm started on it early this year I know, but I've got a bunch going on right now and making sure it's ready for September :).
