Does anyone know of aa good procedure to preserve a fuel pump and Keihin carburater for the winter ?

Drain the fuel bowl clean the carb good via parts washer or brake cleaner
NOT carb and choke cleaner fill the carb back up with wd-40 same hole fuel goes in

Fuel filter just clean it good and buy a rebuild kit before you run agin

Go to your local napa store and buy an acid cleaner and stick your carb and fuel pump in it for the winter. come spring, get it out, but dont wear gloves!

your also gunna want to take your spark plug off and spray wd-40 in the cylinder...turn it over a few times and spray it down very well, in the exauhst port, reeds and pulse line. if you dont already.
