Has anyone ever attempted to convert a Right hand drive car to Left hand drive?
Is it something that is feasable?
My take on the difference between the two is that a right hand drive car is always tighter.
I'm just starting out so may end up with a right hand drive car due to the cheaper price and the availability. But I don't want to be looking for a left hand drive car after a year and not be able to sell the right habd drive car.

it can be done but it will cost you as much as buying a left hand
chassis there is a lot of them around cheap
a brand new bare chassis is around $2000

Part of my problem is that I live in Colorado, so to drive to Pennsylvania to buy a car would conservatively cost $700 in gas, plus a few nights in a hotel.

Get ahold of Robert DeRouchey. He's out in Colorado i do believe, and he usually has good deals on frames and body kits.

Wes is right.......It can be done.....I ran a car this last year that was converted from a right hand drive to a left hand drive(an older Renco)The only real problem I had was the previous owner(the one who converted the car)didn't quite get the motor mount square with the frame,so I had to line up the rear axle with the engine sprocket or else the chain would always come off............Next week.....there will be a flea market at the Harrisburg farm show parking lot........You should be able to pick up a left hand chassis there for a bargin..............Beel
