DUNN HILL 2 SPEEDWAY WELCOMES 2012 SATURDAY NIGHT SMALL CAR PARTS VENDORSThe transition from Wyalusing Valley Motorsports Park to Dunn Hill 2 Speedway is continuing to come together for small car racers in the Northern Tier of PA. Details have come together regarding fuel and parts vendors for the upcoming season.
Uliana Race Products, based out of Bangor, PA, will be on hand weekly selling methanol to the racers. URP will also have parts for both 270 and 600 microsprints. They are an RTS Authorized Dealer. With a simple call during the week, they can get whatever you need and bring it to the track with them on Saturday. They can also ship your parts directly to racers as they prepare their machines this winter. For parts or information, call Joe Uliana at 610-588-3978 or 484-505-0981.
MEI Smallcar will be on hand with Slingshot and kart parts. MEI is the local Speedway Entertainment Slingshot Dealer. MEI will also be continuing to seal, sell, and maintain the DH2 sealed clone engines for the Sportsman and SportsKID classes. Only engines sealed and sold by WVMP in the past, or from MEI/DH2 from this point forward, will be allowed. Engine and seal numbers have been recorded from day one. Any engines from other tracks or suppliers will be immediately disqualified.
Sealed engines are expected to be in stock and ready to go in early February. Base egnines will remain $150 + tax ($159 total), with race ready engines including chain guard, air filter adapter, air filter, pre-filter, header, RLV muffler, top plate with throttle linkage and fuel pump, and jet drilled out will be priced at $400 + tax ($424 total).
Orders are now being taken by MEI Smallcar, who is offering a special until January 31st. Anyone ordering and pre-paying for an engine will get the following special prices: $140 + tax for engines alone, or $380 + tax for race ready engines.
