Hi Everyone! I race a slingshot up in the midwest here, actual in Wisconsin. I run a 56inch round tire with 22psi in it. I heard that there is a new type of tire out there that I think was wider than what I got. I was wondering if there was one and if it would help run more fast?
Reply if you now anything!

Thanks,

Which tire are you running? 9.50 , 8.50 or the duro the duro is the biggest tire, but the sizes vary they can go from 55" to 58" that i have seen. We run the duro on right rear and the 9.50 on the left rear. we have to get multiple tires to get the stagger where we want. Tobias is getting a new tire but they don't have them yet. Hopefully the will work good.

I think a duro not sure? What is the big difference with the new tire coming out by tobias. We run a duro on the right rear with 22 psi in it because we figured if the tire grows while going around the track. We have two slingshots with this set-up. We had heard from a buddy of ours that there was a new tire out so I told are team I would look into it.

I have seen the new tire at tobias's shop but not used them yet. You can't buy them yet, from what I heard is the shipment is being held up at the port waiting for customs approval. I think the new tire will only be used left rear & on the front. Still using the duro right rear.

Up here in the midwest we run the duro on the right rear with 68 tooth gear. So basically the new tire coming out is for the left rear. We don't run big tires up front due to the fact we race on dirt. Is there a link
to see the new tire yet? If so can you give me the web adress?
