i bought my son micro 270 need some help first which is best running on gas or meth. raced go karts for 5 years needed something new . Second and most important do they all have to be push started tried his and nothing . maybe mom bite off to much this time.haha

You don't run meth in your racecar, that stuff is illegal.

You run Methanol Alcohol instead ;)

I've always liked the Methanol because the motor runs cooler and the like. However, you have to jet the carb for Methanol, since the carb is not set up for it when it is stock.

Yes, they all have to be push started. What are you trying to push start it with? A four wheeler is usually used to complete such a task. What does it do when he tries to shift it into gear to get it going?

you can push start it without a atv . Make shure the driver can easily put in second gear and get in nutral befor you start it. Turn the fuel line on and blow into the fuel tak twice. You need 2 people both pushing then if not getting good grip one of you have to jump on the back bumper and the driver has to put it in second gear and after it starts cranking jump off and push it about 50 to 100 feet. after about 3 times it will just barely fire. then the next time it will start right up after you are sure it is running good pull it into nutral. Most of the time it will start quicker but this is if it was sitting for a lil bit of time.
