I hit the wall hard with right rear and my hiper wheel crack or broke open. Has another try repairing one of these wheels or just throw it away and buy a new wheel half?

I would just replace it and have pice of mind. not worth the risk if causes another wreck and more damage to your car or someone elses

send it back they will replace had 1 break and they sent me a new half you will have to buy beadlock ring

I agree with the others. Its not worth risking injury.

No parts are made to hit the wall hard not hypers fault and i dont believe hyper makes the wheels you can contact who ever made the wheels but dought you will like the answer

Hiper......not Hyper, makes the wheels in question. Yes they are covered under warrenty, just send it to them and they will send you a replacement free of charge. The Hiper carbon fiber wheels are pretty tough to break, but if you do, they will replace them.

I'm sure if you hit hard enough to break one it was a pretty good hit. Like Trip said give them a call they are great to deal with, no hassle at all. HIPER Carbon fibers are the way to go. 3 years in 270s and have never had to buy a rim.

I'll give the company a call and see what happen - I never hit something this hard before in a race. I finish the race and won it afte I crash half way thru the race. Tire went flat in the pits after the race. There I notice the 6" long crack on the inside of the wheel by the value stem.

Shouldnt be an issue at all Robert, we had one split into 3 large pieces from a really hard one into the wall at Path Valley, sent it back and they sent us a new one.

So after 2.5 seasons on that set of rims, it sounds like the old 29 is finally getting a new half!

Brandon, car was running good until that wall came out an hit me, I sent the wheel back to hiper, they want to see the crank in the wheel. No matter what I get another half and get it readlly for the next race in two weeks. No snow yet here in Colorado, so racing is still a go.

Bend an aluminum rim and you have to replace it. There is no fixing! To be on the safe side, so you should do the same with hiper wheels. But they will replace their non-aluminum rim I understand. If you break a rim, I suspect you may have more parts in need of repair or replacement too!

The company is sending me a new half to replace the one I crack for free. Now if I can only figure out a way to make the beadlock the color of purple.

Whens the last time you got a new alum half for free... Carbon Fibers the way to go, buy 3 get one free and a warranty, does it get much better...
