Figured I would break the ice on the first tech question ... :)
I got a simple question... I'm want to put a nose wing on my micro, was wondering what would be the recommended position and angle?
My car is a 01 (w/ 07 updates) RTS 270 Chassis... I ordered the standard RTS wing and brackets....

I was always told about 10 more degrees than the top wing. mine I am setting lower so I can see over it though

start with 30 degrees

Dry Slick Top wing around 22 degrees and nose 25 degrees
Average Top wing around 18 degrees and nose 25 degrees
Tacky Top wing around 14 degrees and nose 25 degrees
Nose is usually left at 25 degrees to keep the front downforce constant with the top increasing angle according to how much grip the track is losing going towards the slick side.
These figures are just suggested starting guides.

line up top wing with front wing no air restriction......

The problem with aligning up the nose with the top wing is change of down force. You have made two changes and if the nose wing angle is less as a result you could get a push condition. Most air restriction from the nose happens to be the hood underneath especially if you have a non-functional hood scoop. The upward air movement from the front wing is usually canceled out by the speed of the air coming at the car. You may have noticed all the newer cars have designs that make the hood also an effective down force generator as well as flat side sale panels. Has to do lamiar air flow.

you never want your nose wing to be over 15 degrees, becuz then it becomesw a drag but i know a good starting position to have it at is lined up parallel with your nose (right below the nose wing).

Well that might be true for a 270 as far as front nose wing angle goes as it is a trade off with down force and drag. One of the adjustments for a push is change the nose wing angle up a little, or you drop the nose, or you increase stagger, or you etc. etc.
