Is it true that 06-08 R6s is the same as a 05 R6? If so then can everything bolt on from a 05, oilpan, injection, header, motorplates etc???. Thanks

The S motor is the same the R motor (the one with dual injection is completely different).

The injected R6 is slightly different, not completely different, There are a few things changed, Higher Compression piston from factory, different cams, and 1 mm wider rods. The injection has movable stacks in the 08 but the 06 injection will work on the 08. Although you want the 08 injection on the 08. Thats it.

The motor mounts from 06 will work on the new 08. Sprocket high is the exact same, looks like they used the same cases from year to year as well.
