LANCO member Raymond "Butchie" Myers Jr. passed away unexpectedly Saturday June 21. Ray was a member of LANCO and raced for many years in the 270 and 600 class. He was the fiancee of Angie Ruhl and proud father of Brianna. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.


A public viewing will be held at Buch Funeral Home in Manheim from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a service immediately following for friends and family.

Ray will be missed by all of us in the racing community. May he rest in peace.

Raymond always had a smile on his face... We will always miss him.

So sorry to hear about Ray's passing. He was a nice guy...a tough interview, but a nice guy. It was tough to get him to say much, even after he won a feature. But a real good guy.

I want to thank everyone in our racing world for the support we have been receiving. God, I do not even know where to start. I never thought I would have to go through this. As it has already been posted, Raymond (Rapid Ray), passed away Saturday evening. The viewing is at 6:00pm on Wednesday at Buch's in Manheim. There will be a service at 7:30.
