It's that time again...just as I did the past two years, I am once again asking for information from drivers and teams who have entered the Super 600 Showdown at Lanco on July 5.
I would like to have the following info: driver's name, hometown and state, car number, chassis mfr., engine builder, and sponsor(s). If there is a car owner involved (someone other than the driver owns the car), his/her name would be helpful. Also: where do you normally run, any track/series championships, number of career wins, and any other highlights that you can think of. The driver's age and occupation are also nice to have...
Thank you. Email the info to bwa39@comcast.net.
Please share this info with drivers/teams who may not have Internet access. They can mail their information to: 3198 West Philadelphia Avenue, Oley, PA 19547. If someone would like to fax their info, please use 610-323-9307, and make sure my name appears somewhere on the fax.
Thanks again...REALLY looking forward to this year's Showdown. If all goes well, a large portion of the show will be taped, then broadcast on Blue Ridge Cable 11. A week or two after the Showdown, it can be seen on racenetwork.tv. That's right...as long as the weather is nice on July 4 (it's a long story), the crew from Blue Ridge Cable 11 will be at Lanco on the 5th to record the Showdown. Their video will be shown on the web, at racenetwork.tv, a week or two after the event has been run.
By the way...you Sidewinder blokes (do you like that term, Rohan?) are also welcome to send your information to me. I'm sure you will have some tv time at the Showdown. The information is also used in press releases, and while I am announcing over the track's p.a. system.
Thanks again. And watch for "Countdown to the Showdown" during the week of June 30 - July 4 right here on MicroRacing.com.
