is path valley running 2 classes of 600s on friday, 1 for the open speedweek motor rules and the other for the pa motor rules? and if they are, can you run both classes if you still have a pa legal motor in the car?

Eric, as near as I can find out all our Friday night races are points races and the rules do not change. Our Speedweek race is Monday night, June 30, not Friday night. You can check with John Winsett and only John about any changes for the 600 Speedweek race, or any other changes.

It was stated on the PA two weeks ago at PV that there would be two 600 races.
The first is the normal Friday Night PA rules. The second would be run under the speedweek rules of open engines.

I am guessing this is still the case, although there is nothing on the website about it ????

In years past they would rule two classes of 600. The PA class and then the outlaw class. They did this for the guys coming in or speedweek to run another night since most of their motors are not legal PA motors. They do let you run both classes with a PA legal motor.

Not sure if they are doing it this friday but in years past they did do this.
