I do not see nose wings ran alot on 270's. Do they not benefit them as much as the 600's? Would it hurt to run one?

i'm fairly sure the consensus on the front nose wing is that it slows you down on smaller tracks... just like it would if you had your top wing tilted forward
I imagine it helps for the bigger tracks if you're trying to keep your car planted at a faster speed but I don't think it really matters... either way you have to adjust your car for whatever settings you have
Also, I don't think I've ever even seen one of a hyper 270... mostly rts 270s but not a lot

I thought i reamember more than half of the cars at hamlin running nose wings but i could be wrong. I agree with the rts thing and the Vipers have them built into the front. When i first got one i noticed it help getting into the turn better I could stay full throttle and steer into the turn then lift and downshift halfway threw to get the torque to come off.

Very biased question. I have ran with and without one at Clinton County. I did noticed without one the front end feels a little bit lighter on the steering wheel. With the nose wing it feels more solid/planted. Weather or not its a benefit or a mind over matter I dunno. I have been told 270s do not need one, and have ppl that swear by them. Some say they slow you down with the added drag...I like running with one on the bigger Clinton County because the front end feels more stable at the end of the straight and going into the turn.
Greenwood I have run with and without and it seemed about the same.

I agree with greenwood has wider turns than hamlin and a lil shorter straights. Since Hamlin has tighter turns and you realy have to turn hard to get it into the turn. The nose wing I feel gets the car into the tight turns beter. But I could see not needing one on a track like greenwood.

i never ran a nose wing and i never really had a problem but i agree with either way you have to get your car setup for what your running
