New York, NY, 6/25/08 – Race/Network has entered into an agreement with Blue Ridge Communications Cable-11 to be the On-Demand distribution partner over the World Wide Web for the 7 events they are filming of the Lanco Micro Sprints.

Blue Ridge Cable-11 stepped up this year to help promote Micro Sprint racing at the Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway in Pennsylvania. After race/network became aware of this 7 race package, Ian Marvuglio, co-founder of race/network, approached Jason Will, the director of these Blue Ridge Cable-11 broadcasts, about forming a partnership to deliver these races to a greater audience. At the time, fans of Lanco Micro Sprint racing that did not live in the Blue Ridge cable market were unable to watch these races on their televisions. So with race/network coming onboard, now anyone with high speed Internet access can watch this great racing from anywhere in the world.

The 1st race of 7 launched today on race/network and all of these Lanco Micro Sprint races will be available to registered members of race/network absolutely FREE. Just register to be a member at http://www.racenetwork.tv (general membership is also free).

Race/Network currently streams weekly Sprint Car highlights from the famed Knoxville Speedway for free and also streams select Midget, Sprint, Late Model and Stock Car races LIVE via Pay-Per-View broadcasting.

I second that, Rohan. This is great news for everyone outside the Blue Ridge Cable 11 viewing area, and it's obviously huge for Lanco and for micro-sprint racing in general. This is a tremendous opportunity to gain interest in our favorite form of racing from people who may not be familiar with the micros.
The Lanco Micro Midget Racing Club is extremely grateful to Blue Ridge Cable 11 AND racenetwork.tv for the positive exposure these webcasts (and the Blue Ridge telecasts) will generate for the Clyde and for micro-sprint racing.
The May 10 event from Lanco is now live on racenetwork.tv. No word as of yet as to when the June 18 event will be available. Stay tuned...
