Hi,
On the old website, someone showed us how to build a leakdown tester out of common hardware store products.
I would like to build one now and was wondering if someone could post that on here or send me an email.
thanks,
George

That won't work very good to test for leaks on your engine, it will only test to see if there are leaks in the cylinder... That's really for leak down testing automobile engines, IE to check the condition of the rings, valves, etc...

OK?, So what kind of leaks do you check with your leak down tester??? Or are you talking about something for a two stroke instead of a 600?
We always leaked down the engine with the same type tester to gauge the overall condition of the engine.

Check for air leaks through gaskets or oil seals! If you have any air leaks, you have the possibility of leaning the engine out to much and burning a piston... This type of setup is really only for 2-stroke engines... Well thats what I use it for........
