Borger's Speedway celebrates July 4th weekend, with the first annual Battle in the Burg!

On Saturday July 5th the 270cc Microsprints will take to the challenging 1/7th mile clay for a winner take all $700.00 to win 30 lap main event. Payout based on car count, with the $700.00 first prized based on 30 or more cars entered!

Who will be crowned "The Battle in the Burg" Microsprint Champion & take home the $700.00 ?????

The staff at Borger's Speedway would like to thank everyone who has emailed or called for info. on the Battle in the Burg July 5th race.
Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions. (Hope this helps).

- There is a payback other than the $700.00 to win money. It will be based on car count at sign in time.
- The $700.00 to win first prize money is based on 30 cars entered.
- This will be a points race for Borger's Speedway regulars, HOWEVER, there will be NO handicapping on this night. The starting line up will be determined by qualifing.
- Transponders are required for all Saturday night races at Borger's Speedway. They can be rented for $5.00 per evening.
- There in NO advanced registration nor is there any extra entrance fees. Unlike other tracks that host special shows this will be our normal $20.00 car registration and $20.00 pit pass. pricing.
- Reserved parking. We ask any non Borger's regular competitor that is planning on coming please either email or call the track so we can accommodate. This is not mandatory!

This looks to be the race of the year at Borgers. You don't want to miss this one.

if you are not a reg at borgers remember 6 in turndowns are required hope to see some new faces there thanks sorry for the edit but i just found out that for this race the quite pipe is not mandatory so i hope that helps and we get some new faces at the track

Gates are always open. People start coming in between 2:00 p.m.and 3:00 p.m. Warm-ups 5:00 p.m. Heats start at 6:00 p.m. Hope to see you tonight. In case of inclement weather call 570-992-8131 or www.borgers-speedway.com
