K&N Engineering Racers Challenge '09
02.26.09: Attention Racers, Have you been looking for the opportunity to have a ride provided for you? Speedway Entertainment is offering to supply a SpeedSTR for the entire 2010 racing season. Rich Tobias has designed both of his successful race series (Slingshots and SpeedSTR's) to help provide a stage, for drivers to showcase their abilities. Tobias strives to develop both youngsters (making their way up) and experienced racers into top-level drivers by providing the platform needed to help them achieve personal goals in both life and competition. This contest for the 2010 STR will allow drivers to showcase their abilities while having a renowned Racecar driver in Tobias to help hone their skills.
To become eligible for this priceless opportunity, Speedway Entertainment will be offering a rental STR for the 2009 season, in which contestants will be competing in an overall competition for the 2010 SpeedSTR ride. There will be up to 20 eligible contestants vying for the prestigious 2010 seat. Rentals for this competition will be $1100.00 per event.
You will be able to choose from the scheduled race dates, there is only one rental available for this competition, so it will be first come first serve to choose which track or tracks you would like to showcase your talents. At season's end Tobias will compile the attributes of each racer from competition, personality, drive to achieve, etc. in which he will choose and announce the winner of the 2010 STR ride.
There are only 12 openings left, so contact Rich Tobias to schedule your race date soon. Also as an added bonus Speedway Entertainment will be supplying all entered contestants a practice date scheduled for late April. If you would like to be part of this added track time to show off your skills and to get a solid feel of these quick STR's then get your registration and fees in before the late April date (stay tuned for specific date).
