Fast and Furious Friday nights continued at Bridgeport Speedway.
Mother nature wins out at Bridgeport Speedway's Friday night program 6/27/08. Light rains came just before warmups were to start delaying the racing program. With the track being run in trying to get it dried out, the rains stopped and then started again. After awaiting the rains to stop mother nature did not cooperate tonight with us and the complete racing program was called for the night before any cars could take to the track. Jeff Hartman's 3 week win streak halted in the 600cc class, seems mother nature knows how to slow Jeff down? Will he come back stronger next week?

URC Sprints invade Bridgeport Speedway for the final time in 2008 on the 4th of July. 358 Small Blocks join the action on the main track. On the 1/4 mile speedway, 270 cc and 600 cc Micro Sprints kick off this very special holiday program. Front Gates open at 5:00 PM. Back Pit Gates will open at 6:00 PM. The first qualifying race begins at 7:00 PM. General Admission tickets are $20 for adults. Kids 12 and under are admitted for free.
Coming Friday night, July 25 2008. Dennis Einfalt of Einfalt Recycling & Salvage, Inc. of Stockerton, Pa. www.einfaltinc.com , Will be sponsoring racing for all cars on the ¼ mile track. Everyone running on the ¼ mile track will get tow money for the night of racing at Bridgeport Speedway along with the normal payouts. Show your support and thanks to Dennis when you see him. Billed 'The Fastest Dirt Track in the East', Bridgeport Speedway is a banked 5/8th mile dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295.
