If the tach connector is such a rule then why does it seem to be kept a secret as to what type and how it should be wired. I would like to wire my car correctly the first time to abide by the rules. A diagram and detailed discription in the rules would really help clear this up. Thanks for the help

The connector is a Delphi Metripack 150 series 3 terminal female.
Terminal A = switched 12 volts, Terminal B = Ground, and Terminal C = Tach signal wire.
You will also want the seals around the wires and the mating male connector half and position plugs to cap the unused connector to keep the dirt out.
We can sell you the connector assembly with wire leads already crimped and installed for $15.00.
