A video in a video player from Youtube or Veoh can be added to any post via the U button for YouTube or the V button for Veoh.

http://www.youtube.com

http://www.veoh.com

Below I will show examples of both. We have found that while Youtube is very popular, Veoh video is usually of better quality and allows for very long running videos.

We will begin with You tube.

When you post a video to your Youtube account of find a video you wish to share on the forums you need to copy the video identification info from the You tube video URL

For Example
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMyrHJE8baU

You would want to copy everything after the v=
So you would copy GMyrHJE8baU

Then make sure you are in the advanced editor when posting and click the U button this will add the following BB code to your post.

Then you would paste the video identification cade between the YouTube BBcodes like so

GMyrHJE8baU

And this will be the result.

GMyrHJE8baU

Veoh is very similar to the above but you will use the V button
Here is an example of the Veoh url and what to copy from it.

http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1484218B9mStkqd

So you would copy everything after the slash /

Now sometimes on veoh and YouTube there may be other things in the url
after the video identification such as the following
http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1484218B9mStkqd?searchId=8683341967944655872&rank=1 (http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1484218B9mStkqd?searchId=8683341967944655872&rank=1)

You would still only copy the video identification string
v1484218B9mStkqd

Insert the video Identification between the BBcode added to your post by pressing the V button

v1484218B9mStkqd

And here are the results of the above
v1484218B9mStkqd

I think so I will look into it. We will also have our own site videos and pic from them for a video of the week to be displayed on our home page.
