another video, same spot as last time. started 9th in this race and ended up second. it was a special 30 lap race and the track was being weird all night... so we tried some different things. it resulted in me fighting with the car most of the race.... but like my dad always says when I complain, "it didn't look like the car was doing that"... but in the video you can notice me throwing the car into the turns during the middle of the race. Basically once I got to third I realized how off the car was... then I was messing with the wing and it went from too loose to too tight and back to loose. Not until the last bunch of laps did I get settled in, but it still wasn't enough. When I'm doing good in in a race I get into a zone, but I couldn't stay focused at all that night. I lacked the mysterious side bite in 3/4 and couldn't get any solid runs going. Congrats to Jim Garrison for taking the win and the money that night.

Nice video, what type of camera did you use? That is probably the best 270 incar I have seen. Most of them are so wavey cause of the vibrations

alex,

are you using the roll bar mount or the mount that comes with it? and are you using the regular go pro, the motorsports pro, or the Wide version?

Thanks,

John Vreeland

Funny you mentioned your Dad saying the car didn't look like it was doing what you felt. My Pop was an ex driver and when I was racing at Airport he would doubt what i was telling him. Finally at practice one nite I put him in the car. That was the last time he questioned what I was tellin him! :p Great drivin by the way.

where do you guys mount it? I've tried behind me and in front of the car... and both videos turned out the same quality. I'll check it out next time you're at airport

yeah about the whole dads not believing us i have the same problem almost every week (and he says the same exact thing). he is an ex racer too but he is too big to get into my car so i cant show him. But i think we have come to an understanding. good video i think we might be getting a go pro because our epic came sucks at night.
